this is a graphic recording / scribed image created by Amy Lauren, a graphic recorder / scriber based in Dublin, Ireland. The image was made for AsIAm autism charity, Limelight Communications and the Lord Mayor of Dublin. The image contains illustrations of dogs, sports, city skylines, retail, camping, public transport, lists, open doors, technology, as well as nods to those who are autistic, like loop earbuds, headphones, noise cancelling, sensory pods and eating needs.
Digital scribing for Limelight Communications, in collaboration with AsIAm and the Lord Mayor of Dublin.
Visualise your thinking with scribing
Scribing captures your event in a uniquely impactful way.
At debates, conferences and workshops across Ireland, I create visual summaries on paper or screen, literally as they happen.
Visual explanations are often more memorable and accessible than communicating through words alone. Live illustrated works-in-progress that map quotes, ideas and conversations, create a strong sense of togetherness. The audience, the scribe and the artwork itself form a visual feedback loop. The finished summary is also a widely shareable asset.
This is a sample list of graphic recording clients who Amy Lauren has worked with. They include the European Commission, the HEA, the Lord Mayor of Dublin, WWETB, Ahead, the No Name Club and Limelight Communications.
This is an example analogue graphic recording made by Amy Lauren for WWETB. Featured is a house, a table of people talking, a lecture, the words connecting and learning, a cartoon of someone thinking, a drawing of a video call, people hugging, music notes, a boat and the sun.
This is a digital graphic recording harvesting scribing sample. It contains images of a company's positive traits, plans and leadership values, as well as illustrations of teams, the planet, a sunset, fist bumping, a judging scale, diversity, chatting and a mirror.
