A graphic recording is shown of two men explaining how they arrived to the rainbow badge inclusion for the NHS and the HSE. A rainbow flag is shown placed into an arrow, suggesting progress of LGBTQ rights. History is dotted throughout the piece, with elements like representation in media, safe spaces, communication, inclusive language, homophobia and funding shown.
A graphic recording is shown of how people can navigate the world and show kindness and hospitality even when others around them don't see the value.

Visualise your thinking with scribing
Scribing (also known as graphic recording, graphic harvesting or live illustration) captures your event in a uniquely impactful way.
At debates, conferences and workshops across Ireland, I create visual summaries on paper or screen, literally as they happen.
Visual explanations are often more memorable and accessible than communicating through words alone.
The finished summary is a widely shareable asset – as photographs of the finished summary or as vector graphics. The latter can be scaled to any size and printed on most materials.

Recordings can be optimised for online use, like these two samples above for LGBT Ireland, reformatted for Instagram's square layout.

I worked with Amy for the National Access Forum in 2024. Amy was extremely organised and well prepared. Amy’s skills are exceptional, and the scenes drawn across the day really captured the essence of the event. The illustrations were a great focus point of discussion which really enhanced the overall engagement. I would recommend Amy for any event illustration work. She is very pleasant to deal with and extremely professional and a highly accomplished illustrator.
